Rosa pendulina L.

Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimen microphanerophyte, Ph, 2n=28, tetraploid mesic, from the upper nemoral to the boreal belt, usually petrophyle western Palearctic Mulgedio-Aconietea, Alnion viridis, Calamagrostion arundinaceae, Tilio-Acerion R41, R42, R3701-3707 habitats, on petrophyle substrata     Probably the single Rosa species in the world or at least in the Palearctis which has no thorns.
